Definition: To lie in or be exposed to warmth
Sentence: While in Florida on vacation, all she did was bask in the sun.
Comely (adjective)
Definition:
Sentence: The writer would often refer to his beautiful sister as a “comely lass”.
Synonym: Becoming, attractive, handsome
Antonym: Homely, repulsive, plain
Dilemma (noun)
Definition: A difficult choice, especially one between equally understandable alternatives
Sentence: Whether I should repair my old car or purchase a new one was a real dilemma.

Effigy (noun)
Definition: An image of a person or thing; usually a crude image of na hated person
Sentence: The burned in effigy of their hated director.

Definition: One who is outgoing, friendly; one who is more interested in what is going on
Sentence: Because he was an extrovert, people found him easy to talk to.

Definition: Fashionable, stylish

Definition: Of this world and not of heaven; common; worldy, not spiritual
