Primary Prevention
a form of prevention taken before a disease occurs. ex; vaccines, living a healthy lifestyle exercising etc.
Secondary Prevention
a form of prevention that is given while a disease is occurring in the early stages. ex; medicine, early treatment.
Tertiary Prevention
A form of prevention that is given after a SIGNIFICANT unfortunate diagnosis or event such, as cancer, or chronic disease. ex; drug rehabilitation, chemo therapy.

ex; chronic bronchitis, asthma

Communicable vs Non-communicable disease
communicable: can be transmitted from an infected person to a non- infected person.
non-communicable: CANNOT be transmitted from an infected person to a non-infected person.
