Biography
The story of a persons life written by someone other than themselves .
Autobiography
A history of a persons life written by that person. They write their own biography
Geography
They study of our physical world and how we interact with it.
Geographer
A scientist who studies the earths physical features and the people, plates and animals that live in the different regions.
Latitude lines
Imaginary lines called parallel that circles the Earths from east to west, but measure in degrees how far north and south and place is located on earth from the equates
Longitude lines
Imaginary lines called the prime meridians that run from the North pole to the South pole that measure in degrees how Far East or west you a please is located on earth from prime meridian
Equator
The imaginary line that is half way between the North and the South Pole. It goes east to west and is measured at 0 degrees
Prime meridian
The imaginary lines that run north to south and is measured at 0 degrees
Climate
The aspect of weather such as temperature, precipitation and wind that are measured over time on an area
Tributary
A river or steam flowing into a larger river or lake
Gulf
a part of an ocean or sea that extends into the land.
Peninsula
A piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water
