What is swing?

A three-part musical form in which a main theme returns after a contrasting section.
What is backbeat?
Placing the musical accent or emphasis on beats two and four, usually found in jazz.
What is a concert band?
A concert band is an ensemble of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.
What is a chord?
A chord is two or more notes sounding together.
Describe a pipe organ.
A pipe organ is commonly found in churches that produces sound by blowing air through various lengths of tubing, and is controlled by a keyboard.
What’s a triple meter?
Beats in groups of three.
What’s a duplicate meter?
Beats in groups of two.
What is programmatic music?
Music that depicts a specific, picture, or story.
What is scherzo ?
Italian to joke, or to play, usually a fast playful piece of music.
What’s a legato?
Smooth and connecting articulation.
What’s staccato?
Short and separated articulation

A solo from an opera
