keen(adjective)
intense(yoğun) or sharp
If you have a keen interest in something, you are really, really into it. Keen is an adjective that describes something that is intense, sharp, or focused.
e.g. “the job demands intense concentration”
trap door(noun)
While exploring a spooky old house, if you find an opening in the floor covered by a hinged(menteşeli) panel, you’ve discovered a trap door. In mystery novels and movies, trap doors often lead to secret passageways(geçit).
slight(adjective)
small in degree; inconsiderable(önemsiz).

arouse(verb)
to cause someone to have a particular feeling:
“It’s a subject that has aroused a lot of interest.”
parcel(noun)
an object or collection of objects wrapped in paper, especially so that it can be sent by post:
a food parcel
The parcel was wrapped in plain brown paper.
soar(verb)
to rise very quickly to a high level
“House prices soared a further 20 percent.”
bear(verb)
to accept, tolerate, or endure something, especially something unpleasant
appendage(noun)
Use the noun appendage to describe something that’s attached to something larger
The committee is a mere appendage of the council and has no power of its own.

used to emphasize that something is not large or important:

a ring of wood, metal, or plastic:
The dogs had been trained to jump through hoops.

to make a sudden attack on a place or group of people in order to surround and catch them:
Undercover police swooped on three houses in the city at 5.00 this morning.
