describing an action carried from subject to verb to object; needing a direct object to complete the meaning of the verb.

lasting for only a short while

the sleepover seemed incredibly transient, i couldn’t believe it when i saw the sun peeking out from the window!

aberration
straying from what is normal or accepted

erratic
irregular or inconsistent in movement, habit, quality, or ideas.
my schedule is quite erratic, as many spontaneous events occur in my life.
episode
an incident in a person’s life or in a story or play.
the two friends sat together at lunch and talked excitedly about the newest episode of their favorite tv show.
exodus
- mass departure or emigration
