Aggrevation
An aggravation is actual worsening of the compensable condition or conditions after the last award or arrangement of compensation, which is established by medical evidence supported by objective findings.
Combined condition
compensable injury combines with a qualified preexisting condition.
Compensable injury
accidental injury or accidental injury to prosthetic appliances, in the course of employment requiring medical services
New condition
a condition that develops after the notice of acceptance is issued.
Omitted condition
A condition that was present at the time of notice of acceptance was issued but was omitted from the notice.
Palliative care
This is medical service rendered to reduce temporarily the intensity of an otherwise stable medical condition.
Work disability
impairment as modified by age, education, and adaptability to perform the job in which the worker was injured.
Medically stationary
No further material improvement is expected with either treatment or passage of time.
Non disabling condition
a nondisabling injury only requires medical services.
Curative care
This is care provided to a worker to stabilize a temporary and acute waxing and waning of symptoms.
