Central Idea
is the most important idea about a topic that a writer or speaker conveys.
Objective summary
is a summary that does not include any opinions or judgments about what is written in the text. Instead, it only includes information that comes from the text

is a report on recent events

examples, facts, statistics, and anecdotes that provide a basis for the central idea.
