Spinning Jenny
Named after James Hargreaves wife, was an ingenious device. It was driven by a hand-cranked wheel, which allowed a spinner to spin off a number of threads at the same time. (1 spinning Jenny= several spinners work) IT WAS an important and popular improvement to the textile industry
Flying shuttle
Made weaving much faster, allowed large looms to be operated by 1 person.
Water frame
A way of spinning yarn using rollers, it improved the strength of the yarn being spun and was fast
Mule
It combined the best features of the water frame and spinning Jenny

It was a steam engine designed to pull cars in a railway
