Allusion
Indirect reference to a person place thing or another work
Parallel structure
Repetition of related words, phrases or clauses in the same grammatical structure

Anaphora
Repetition of a word at the beginning of fcs
Apostrophe
Repetition of a word at the end of a phrase
Juxtaposition
Placing to words side by side with contrast.
Antithesis
Parallelism of words phrases or clauses used to show contrast and differences.
Deductive reasoning
An argument that begins with an idea or thesis.
Inductive reasoning
Begins with points and examples and concludes with a thesis. Really controversial thesis.
Alliteration
Reputation of consonant sounds at the beginning and middle of related words.
Assonance
Repetition of vowel sounds in related words.
Exclamatory sentence
Shows strong emotion!
Interrogative sentence
Ask a question?
Declarative sentence
Sentence that makes a statement.
Rhetorical sentence
A question that isn’t intended to be answered
Imparative
Sentence that makes a command or request.
