Final solution
Nazi euphemism for planned mass murder and total annihilation of Jews.
Ghetto
Poor parts of town, overcrowded, disease, starvation, sealed inside
Genocide
Systematic and deliberate. Partial or entire annihilation of cultural, religious, racial, or political groups.
Concentration camps
Established by Nazis to imprison all “enemies” of their regime: actual and potential political opponents. Mainly for labor, harsh conditions.
Euthanasia
Nazi euphemism for “mercy deaths” of incurably insane, permanently disabled, deformed and “superfluous”. 3 categories: 1) euthanasia for incurables, 2) direct extermination by “special treatment.” 3) experiments in mass sterilization. First group to go was the imperfect Germans.

Takes away civil rights for Jews. Bans relationships between Jews and Germans.

leader and chancellor of the Third German Reich. Through his racist ideology and diabolical plans he murdered over six million Jews and started WWII

Head of Jewish Gestapo. Instrumental in imputing final solution.

had control over the vast network of Nazi concentration and extermination camps, the Einsatzgruppen, and the Gestapo
