Validity
Verifying that a website is credible and legitimate. To check for errors in coding.

Adobe Creative Suite 4. Software for graphic design, video editing, web development.
Internet
Massive network of networks connecting millions of computers together globally.
Cascading Style Sheets
Style sheet language used to describe how a document looks in an HTML…docs. Consists of rules which controls the fonts, colors & other typographic properties.
Browser
A portal used to access the World Wide Web.
Ordered List
A list in which the sequence of items is important. Does not necessarily contain sequenced characters, for example an index is an ordered list but it is not a numbered list.
Unordered List
A list using something like the bullet system that allows you to make a set of loosely related items.
Alt Text
Used in HTML and XHTML docs to specify alternative text that is to be rendered when the element which applied cannot be rendered.
Wireframing
Screen blueprint. A visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website.
Dreamweaver
Software program for web design.
HTML Attribute
Brief notes attached to HTML elements that specify additional features.
Storyboarding
Graphic organizers in the form of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing.
Fireworks
The web design and production application software developed by Adobe. Used to make graphical designs and visuals of a website.
Source code
Programming language which then gets translated into ‘machine language’ by an ‘assembler’.
