Freedonina Rebellion
This person, created in 1828, evaluated the growing tensions between American settlers and the Mexican government in Texas. He expressed concerns about U.S. immigration’s cultural and political influence and recommended that Mexico strengthen its control and encourage more Mexican settlement. His findings highlighted issues that later contributed to the Texas Revolution. They were out numbered 10 to 1.
