“We the people of the U.S, in order to a form a perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution for the U.S of America
Electoral college
A set of electors who are selected to elect a candidate to particular offices

The New Jersey plan
Called for a gov’t with 3 branches. However, the legislative branch would have only 1 house, not 2. Also each state would have an equal vote in congress, no matter how big the state is or small.
