abet (uh-BET)
Def: Encourage or assist someone to do something wrong, in particular, to commit a crime or other offense.
Syn: help, assist, aid, encourage
Sent: The mother aided and abetted her son by hiding him after he committed a crime.
Baroque (Buh-ROHK)
Def: The Baroque style or period, used in art encouraged by Catholic church

chicanery (shi-CANE-nuh-ree)
Def: A clever trick, the use of trickery to achieve a political, financial, or legal purpose

Def: separated from; lose connection from a friend
