What is a vmname.vmx.lck file?
File is only present when a VM is powered on
What is a .log.VMware.log file?
This is the currently log file that is in use.
VMware-#.log is the old VMware log file where the # is a number stating at 1

It’s a virtual machine suspend file

VM swap file (virtual memory file)

VM snap shot data file

This is the snapshot descriptor file. Populates automatically when snap shots are taken.

VM BIOS or EFI configuration file

This is the actual HDD file VMware always hides these files.
You can however see them if you view them in vsphere datastore browsers, just not the house client
