What is climate change?

A complex series of climatic events, largely triggered by anthropogenic activities, resulting in increased levels of mainly CO2, CH4, N2O, and chlorofluorocarbons in the atmosphere.

Altered climatic events vary both temporally and geographically, including global warming, increased aridity, altered precipitation patterns, mega-heatwaves, false springs, etc.
