Thiamin (B1)
Major Action: muscleenergy, engery motabliasm
sources:most plant, meats, grains, legumes
Deficiency : very berry- beriberi (axta/ confusion/ tachy/ anorexia)- fatigue wt los / headache
Riboflavin (B2)
Major Action: assist with release energy from cells
sources:milk/ meats/ dark leafy green vege
Deficiency : Chilosis (cracked lips/ corner of mouth)
glossitis (smooth/ swollen red tounge)
Niacin (B3)
Major Action: Energy & protein metabolism / cellular metabolism
sources: meat/ legumes/ milk/ whole grains enriched with bread and cereal
Deficiency : Pellagra ( sin- sensitive skin with lesions)- GI and neuro findings
Pantothenic acid
Major Action:Carb/ fat/ protein metabolism

Major action: Maintain serum calcium and phosphorus aid in bone development

Sources: vege oils and certain nuts
Deficiency: anemia - edema of skin and lesions in infants
Vit K

Major action: Essential for prothrobin synthesis aids in bone metabolism
Sources: carrots/ eggs, dark green vege (spinach, broccoli, aspargius)
Deficiency: increasing bleeding time
