Beriberi ( cardiac failure, peripheral neuropathy, horseness or aphonia, Werneke’s encephalopathy ( altered mental status, ophthalmic changes, and ataxia))
Vitamin B1 ( thiamine)
Dermatitis, cheilosis ( scaling of the surface of the lips and cracking at the sides) glossitis, microcytic anemia, peripheral neuritis
Vitamin B6 ( pyridoxine)
Megaloblastic anemia, demyelination, methalmolonic acidemia
Vitamin B12 ( cobalamin)
Scurvy ( hematologic abnormalities, edema, spongy swelling of gums, poor wound healing, impaired collagen synthesis)
Vitamin C
Megaloblastic anemia, neutropenia, impaired growth, diarrhea
Folic Acid
Pellagra ( diarrhea, dermatitis, dementia), glossitis, stomatitis
Niacin
Skin lesions, poor wound healing, immune dysfunction, diarrhea, growth failure
