Camera Angle
The position of the camera relative to the horizontal plane of the subject
High angle shot
The camera is above the subject (makes subject appear smaller and of lesser importance)
Eye level shot (flat shot)
The camera is on the same plane as the subject
Low angle shot
The camera is below the subject (give stature and authority)
Camera Distance
The apparent distance of the camera from the subject (extreme close-up, close-up, medium shot, long shot)

Long shot
Seeing the background and into the distance
POV shot
Seeing exactly what the character sees
Balance
The way shapes are arranged. Balanced shapes = order or harmony. Not balanced = tension
Colour
is made up of hue (or tint), intensity, and value. Created by artists to create feelings
Hue or tint
the name of the colour (ex. red, blue)
Intensity
the purity and strength of a colour (ex. dull red, bright blue)
Value
lightness or darkness of a colour
