Everything appears in the frame (shows the setting)

Everything in focus meaning nothing is blurred out and everything is important

Manipulates what should be focused by maybe blurring the background around it

Creates more harsh atmosphere

The camera tilted other way creates tension

Frame inside a frame, signifies lonelness
Open space
Lots of open space
Negative space
Empty unknown space, gaping space internally shows loss

Very far away and shows the setting
Long shot
Can see the whole character
Medium shot
Shows people who are connected
Close up
One character seen and shows facial expression
Extreme closeup
Shows symbolism on one object
High angle
Character made small and shows lack of power
Low angle
Shows the dominance of the character
Birds eye view
Isolated and overwhelmed character is free
Over shoulder shot
Only sees one persons perspective
Canted angle
Creates tension
Lighting
All about mood
Low key lighting
Shows no detail
High key lighting

Backlighting
Sunlight in the back
Top lighting
Gives character Halo suggesting they are right
Underlighting
Not good/ creepy

Half in light and half in dark showing the good and bad in the character
