They can deal with trauma,nurses seen so many deaths and are prepared for more

Enjambment,woman’s trying to communicate but she’s so weak she can’t. It’s a burden of approaching death and leaving the loved one behind

Isolation,futility of communication , tears emotion, losing control using metaphors
“In her white cave who clumsily rises”
Effective imagery,describes a woman being alone in her white cave of forgetfulness
“Brother of the poor,talker with the birds”
They both feel alone,social injustice,deflated and suppressed,
“Combs my nostrils”
Painful, unpleasant connotations,synecdoche and pungent, acrid and acerbic smells like its distressing
