Viruse’s have tropism, explain
A
Tropism is the specificity towards a certain cells through the virus having an affinity with something specific on the cells surface. e.g. HIV binds to CD4 on Helper T cells

Testing for virus main way
A
Detection of viral nucleic acid. Blood test- machine- test in PCR type results.
Swab throat/nose check for PCR t
Serology- detecting antibodies or presence of proteins in blood. E.g. deny fever protein.
