Dry tannin, low fruit intensity, moderate alc. & acid. Fragrant, accessible, prettier on nose & more purity than 2011. Almost RTD. Merlot & FB year.

Good
Variable. Fresh, lively, high acid vs. 2012 but puckering. Tannins. Ripe but red fruit vs. jammy, 09/10. RB year.

Red Bordeaux
Excellent
Ripe, fleshy, high ABV. More tannin, freshness and acidity with less overt fruit vs. 09

Red Bordeaux
Excellent
Ripe, lush, big, jammy, baked fruits, very high ABV. Softer tannins, less freshness and faster maturing than 2010.

Red Bordeaux
Very Good
Not the power of 09/10, but more vibrant and intense vs. 2007. Balanced, ripe, fresh acid, perfumed. RB year.

Cool/late vintage. More structured and restrained. Good acidity levels. Lighter

Hit/miss. Relatively low acid, and not uniform results. Weaker.

Excellent
powerful wines with lots of tannins and concentration

Fair Younger drinking (thus unlikely in exam) _ softer, less concentrated.
