Vintage quality: Excellent
Summer thankfully brought hot, dry weather with August. Unfortunately, September saw humid rains
The dread of rot forced some producers to pick earlier than they would have otherwise and a few, faced with underripe grapes, chose to chaptalize. Once in, the resulting harvest was one of the largest in years.
