24
Q

How do you handle the objection “am I getting a good deal”

A

Viking is a spectacular value for the money. you get so much value e.g. free beer and wine with lunch and dinner, free shore excursion in every port, no charge for speciality restaurants, longer time in port by far! Viking Cruise fares are highly inclusive, offering wine and beer with meals, complimentary Wi-Fi and an excursion in every port at no extra cost. Their intimate cruise itineraries are designed to help clients explore and engage with each destination through its food, culture, countryside and customs.List the inclusions. Contrast against competition. 8 day cruises require a lot of travel in a short amount of time. 15

days allow you to relax and enjoy, and the per diem cost is typically lower than on a shorter cruise.

25
Q

How do you handle the objection “Urgency” why should I book now?

A

The deals being offered for booking on board may not be available if you chose to wait. “You have a busy schedule on this itinerary I’m sure, why don’t we book it now so we dont’ have to make another appointment?

26
Q

Credibility

A

Be the Viking Expert on board. There’s no one more qualified to guide your guests to their next cruise, and you know it. Guests can still utilize their Travel Agent when booking onboard.

27
Q

Lack of Pain

A

We are the small ship experts, and many cruises only have one or two embarkation dates a year. Now is the time to book before it gets sold out. When will you have this opportunity again? Don’t let it pass you by.

28
Q

Lack of Authority

A

Why don’t we invite your wife down? Can we schedule a time to meet with all parties involved? Why don’t we all go to dinner together and discuss over a nice meal

29
Q

what are the techniques to use so you don’t come off as pushy

A
  1. Be Respectful – Acknowledge objections as valid concerns, the present a soft pushback. Keep the tone light and cheerful, and be prepared to move on if client is remains firm. Accept that some people are just shopping.
  2. Accept and Probe – Every objection is founded in underlying belief – don’t take what a client says at face value. Instead, ask follow-up questions to help you continue the conversation and identify areas where your client might have unmet needs.
  3. Use a Success Story – Acknowledge their objection is one you’ve heard before and explain how you helped a previous client overcome it.
