What are VFR?
VFR are rules that govern the procedures for conducting flight under visual conditions. The term “VFR” is also used in the US to indicate weather conditions that are equal to or greater than minimum VFR requirements. Its also used by pilots and controllers to indicate a type of flight plan

Pilots must maintain separation from other aircraft.
Aircraft must remain clear of clouds to ensure good visibility.
What are IFR?
IFR are rules governing the procedures for conducting instrument flight. IFR is also a term used by pilots and controllers to indicate the type of flight plan.
