- circling
- ataxia
- rolling
- nyastagmus
Is head tilt on the same side or opposite the lesion?
same side
Why can animals with vestibular disease vomit or salivate?
because they have motion sickness
With animals with vestibular disease that have spontaneous nystagmus, is the fast phase directed toward the lesion or away?
away from the lesion
What type of nystagmus is seen with peripheral vestibular disease?
horiztonal or rotary
What types of nystagmus are seen with central vestibular dz?
- horizontal or rotary
- vertical nystagmus
- nystagmus that changes direction with changes in body position
