Short term effects of Vesalius work

A

Within two years of publishing his work, an Italian printer published compindiosa-copied all of his illustrations. This was sold to barber surgeons in England
Also his book included systems like nerves,muscles,digestion etc. Unlike any other book on anatomy

300 years later Charles Darwin used knowledge of human anatomy to built theory of evolution
Spread around the world and read for better treatment in future
Surgery is grounded in anatomy-you need to know how body works first
