Earliest dinos. Teeth for meat slicing. Recurve, serrations.

Eats insects. Smaller dinos! Don’t need to chew much… Need to puncture to get juices. Up and down jaw movement.

A
Because of having to break down cellulose- chew a lot! Loose jaws, work down teeth exposing cement enamel and dentin (enamel hardest so most prevalent). Front part of jaw is for cropping.
