She could try, they might go, we may be spotted

Refer to an action
Dance, read
Statics verb
Verbs that involve a state or feeling rather than an action
Sleep, believe, like
Active verb
If a verb is actually performed
John kicked the ball
Passive verb
If a verb happens to a subject or object
Amy was hit by the ball
Transitive verb
Verbs that need to be followed by an object to make sense
Karen wants a biscuit, I need a pen
Intransitive verb
Verbs that don’t need a direct object
Toms grades improved, the baby cried
