Verbs 1 Flashcards
In Slovak, verbs ends in ť. For example: to have = mať
Their conjugation for each personal pronoun is as follows
I have = ja mám (note the unexpected á)
You have = ty más
He has = on má
She has = oni má
It has = to má
We have = my máme
You have = vy máte
They have = oni majú
In slovak you can omit the subject! So rather than writing “ja mám” it is much more natural to Slovak people to write just “mám” when there is no emphasis on the subject.
