sentence structure used = “something appeals to me”
Que te gusta? = What do you like? What appeals to you

to be annoying
Me molesta que tu llegues tarde = Im annoyed that you are late
Parecer
to seem, used to ask how we feel about something
No me parece bien = It doesnt seem ok to me
Que te parace las oficinias de BF? How do the offices at BF seem to you?
Interesar
to be interesting
Me interesa saber el proceso = Im interested in learning the process
Saber
to know, information
Sabes el nombre del gerente? Do you know the managers name?
Conocer
to know, places (lugares) o personas
Conoces a Juan? Do you know Juan?
Importar
to matter, be important to
No me importa = it doesnt matter to me
No impota = It doesnt matter

Im thinking of…
pens- + en +infinitivo
Estamos pensando en cambiar las etiquetas del producto = We are thinking of changing the labeling of the product
Empezar a
to start
empez- + a + infinitivo
empiezo, empieza, empiezas, empiezamos, empiezan
Necesito empezar a trabajar = I need to start working
Que dia empiezas a empacar para tu viaje? What day do you start packing for your trip?

to finish
Termino de trabajar a las 8 = I finish work at 8
Haber
to have done something
haber (conj’ed) + -ado/-ido verb
he, has, ha, hemos, han
He comido = I have eaten
Ya has terminado el proyecto? Have you finished the project?
Cambiar de
to change one thing for another
Cambiar de ropa = change clothes
Cambiarme de rope = Im changing my clothes
double verbs
1st is conjugated, second one is not
ado/ido = -ing
Estoy cansado de correr = Im tired of running
Estoy trabajando en eso = Im working on that
Estoy terminado una junta = Im finishing a meeting
llamar
to call
llamada = a call
Estoy en una llamada = Im on a call
LLamarme = Call me

to write

Tener
to have, irregular
(dont use for food/drinks, thats comer/tomar)
tengo, tienes, tiene, tenemos, tienen
Tienes un perro o gato? Do you have a dog or cat?

to go, irregular
voy, vas, va, vamos, van
Vas a las oficinas todos los dias? Do you go to the office everyday?
Ser
to be, irregular, mostly for descriptions
soy, eres, es, somos, son
Venir
to come, irregular
vengo, vienes, viene, venimos, vienen
Cuando vienes a Mexico? When do you come to Mexico?
Programar
to schedule
programado/ada = scheduled
No tengo un viaje programdado = I dont have a trip scheduled
Pasado (past) tense - Indefinido (Indefinite) - used for actions that happened once, not a constant in your past
-AR: e’, aste, o, amos, aron
Viaje = trip, Viaje’ = I travelled, Viajo = I travel
Le mande’ un mail = I sent an email to him
-ER/-IR: i’, iste, io’, imos, ieron
Comer: comí, comiste, comimos, comieron
¿Recibiste el correo? Did you receive the mail?
Exceptions:
Tener: tuve, tuviste, tuvo, tuvimos, tuvieron
No tuve tiempo = I dont have time
Ser/Ir: fui, fuiste, fué, fuimos, fueron
same past form, “I was, He was” like “went”
A donde fuiste en tus vacaciones? Where did you go for vaction?
Venir: vine, viniste, vino, vinimos, vinieron
Viniste a Mexico sola? Did you visit Mexico alone?
Subjuntivo Verbos - Used to talk about things that are not real or that are hypothetical
-AR & -IR/ER get opposite endings
Acabar = acabe, acabes, acabe, acabemos, acaben
Comer = coma, comas, coma, comamos, coman
Exceptions:
Ser = sea, seas, sea, seamos, sean
Ir = vaya, vayas, vaya, vayamos, vayan
Ver = vea, veas, vea, veamos, vean
Que te vaya bien = I hope you do well (goodluck)
Que tengas buen dia = I hope you have a good day
Quiza’ tenga trabajo manana = I might have to work tomorrow
