When do you used ser vs estar
estar: naming the location of something, the health state of someone, or somebody’s well-being/emotional state (i.e. I am well = Estoy bien), certain weather expression, ongoing actions (progressive tenses i.e. estamos estudiando para un examen)
ser: naming identity (i.e. Soy Rose), occupation (i.e. Soy estudiante), you origin (Soy de México), telling time, characteristics of people and things, generalizations, possessions, what something is made of, where or when an event takes place
