Rule: if the root ends in ㅏ or ㅗ what do you add at the end?
Ex: 가다
If the root ends in ㅏ/ㅗ you add 아요
Rule: if the root does NOT end in ㅏㅗ then what do you add?
Ex: 먹다
You add 어요. This is used in present tense “I/she/he/they/we eat”

요가해요 - this verb is a 하다 exception, so it conjugates as 해요
Present conjugation: to be hurt

(Today + topic marker + subject + subject marker + verb root + conjugation)
Direct translation: Today yoga painful
Translate: I go to yoga now
저는 지금 요가에 가요
(Topic + 는/은 + time adverb + place + location particle 에 + conjugated verb)
Translate: I am tired.
저는 피곤해요
Topic + 는/은 + (피곤하다 + 해요 = 피곤해요)
I + am tired (present).
