Q

What are some risks of PPV?

A
Airway complications
Disconnection
Failure o fpwer supply
Mechanical faults
CVS complications
- +ve pressure stretches the alveoli, increases pulmonary vascular resistance and therefore decreases venous return
V/Q mismatch
Pneumothorax
Subcutaneous emphysema
