Give an example of this

A

If a lorry travels along a straight road at 15m/s (metres per second), in one direction, the velocity is +15m/s. If it then travels in the opposie direction at the same speed, the velocity is -15m/s

What doesn’t matter about negative or positive?

A

It doesn’t matter which direction is called positive or negative as long as opposite directions have opposite signs

A
