What are the symptoms of GCA?

A
  • Headache
  • temporal artery and scalp tenderness (e.g. when brushing hair)
  • jaw claudication
  • amaurosis fugax or sudden blindness (typically in one eye)

extra cranial:

  • dyspnoea
  • morning stiffness
  • unequal or weak pulses
