Outline an antenatal management plan for a woman diagnosed with vasa previa at her 20 week anatomy scan
A
- Advise to avoid sexual intercourse, strenuous activity and digital cervical exams.
- Repeat TVUSS with colour doppler at 30-32 weeks.
- Elective admission from 30 weeks until delivery.
- Alternative: outpatient if long closed cervix on serial TVUSS and fFN negative.
- Corticosteroids at 32 weeks.
- Elective CS between 34-36 weeks.
