Definition of point
A point shows position, but it has no size. It is marked with a capital letter to name it.
Definition of line
A series of dots joined together, it extends to infinity in both directions, as it has no end points.

A portion of a line; the shortest distance between two points.

A Ray has one end point, is straight and the other end extends to infinity

Vertical lines “run” upwards and downwards.
