Q

Valid VS Sound

A

Valid:

An Argument is valid if, if the premises are true, then the conclusion must be true OR
It is not possible for the premises to be True and the Conclusion to be False
**Interestingly, these are not exactly the same, but for our purposes, they are.

Sound:

  1. A valid argument with true premises.
It has to be valid in order to be sound.
