This is the first line of the poem and it starts with a negative which is unusual for a love poem.

This means that love can be dangerous and can have toxins and bad sides.
What does “not a cute card or a kissogram” mean
There is anaphora with the “not” there is also alliteration with “c” and “k” noises.
