Q

How does a vaccination work:

A

A small amount of a dead/inactive pathogen injected into your bloodstream. The wbc’s recognise it as foreign, and kill it. They remember how to kill it so when the real pathogen enters the bloodstream, they kill it quickly so you don’t get ill. Reference antibodies and antigens
