What are the risk factor of Uterine Fibroid?
A
- Age group 35 - 40
- High estrogen level (nulliparous)
- Obesity (Fat cells -> Aromatization -> High estrogen)
- Nulliparous women

Why uterine fibroid can cause subfertility?
A
- Mechanical distortion or occlusion of Fallopian tube
- Endometrial cavity grossly distorted by submucous fibroid may prevent implantation

What are the investigations done to diagnose fibroid uterine?
A
- Do a urine pregnancy test -> TRO any ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy
- Blood test:
1. FBC (Hb level -> Anemia)
2. Coagulation profile -> Coagulopathy - Abdominopelvic ultrasound -> To determine the location and size of the fibroid (Whirled, homogenous, well-circumscribed)
- MRI -> Can delineate intramural, subserosal, and submucous myomas
