Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening
Men aged 65-75 years with any smoking history
Breast cancer screening
Women aged 50-74 years of age should undergo every OTHER year mammogram screening
Cervical cancer screening
Age 21-29: every 3 years with cytology alone
Age 30-65 every 3 years with cytology alone or every 5 years with co-testing
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea screening
All sexually active women 24 years or younger and in women 25 years or older who are at increased risk
Colorectal cancer screening
Adults 45-75 years of age
Anxiety and depression screening in children/adolescents
Anxiety: children 8-18
Depression: children 12-18
Hep C screening
Adults aged 18-79 years of age
HIV screening
Ages 15-65 and additional screening for younger or older adults if increased risk factors
Lung cancer screening
Annual low-dose CT:
Adults 50-80 who have a 20 pack year history and currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years.
Stop screening once pt has not smoked for >15 year or develops other condition that limits life expectancy or the ability/willingness to have curative lung surgery.
Obesity screening in children/adolescents
Age 6+
Osteoporosis screening
postmenopausal women younger than 65 at increased risk OR women 65+
PreDM and DM screening
Age 35-70 who are overweight or obese.
Folic acid recommendations?
All women who are planning or CAPABLE of pregnancy take daily 400-800mg
Intimate partner violence
screen women of reproductive age
Statin Use for primary prevention
Ages 40-75 with 1 or more CVD risk factor (HLD, DM, HTN, smoking) and estimated 10 year risk of 10%+
