what to do at a box junctions ?
dont enter until your exit road is clear
you may enter and wait when you want to turn right

dont enter unless you want to go in the direction of the arrow
you may proceed in direction of green arrow when it or the full green light shows

must stop at first white line if the lights are amber or red

tale up position just left of middle of the road or in the space
leave room for other vehicles to pass on the left

keep as close to left as is safe and practible
give way to any vehicles using a bus lane, cycle lane or tramway from wither direction

check whether road markings allow you to enter the roundabout without givign way

signal left and approach left hand lane

signal right and approach in rigth hand lane

allow more time for stopping on wet or icy roads
do not wave or use your horn to invite pedestrians across
what to do at pelican crossings ?
must stop at red lights
amber light flashing - must give way to people

what are some key tips for reversing ?
choose an appropriate place to manouvre - quiet side road
dont reverse from side road into a main road
use mirrors
check blind spot
check no people
look mainly through rear window
