The action began in the past and continues in the present
Present perfect
The time for carrying our the action has not ended
Present perfect
The action is constantly repeated in an indeterminate time between the past and the present
Present perfect
The action concluded recently. For this use, use just
Present perfect
The time at which the action was performed is not relevant
Present perfect
Recent past activities:
To talk about a finished activities in the recent past.
Focuses on the activity we don’t give a specific time. Even though the activity is finished, we can see the result in the present
Present perfect continuous
One continuing event:
For a single activity that began at a point in the past and is still continuing.
Present perfect continuous
Repeated continuing events:
To talk about repeated activities which started at a particular time in the past and are still continuing up until now
Present perfect continuous
