What is a menu interface?
An interface which lets you interact with a computer or device by working your way through a series of screens or menus, example: ATM machine
What is a command line interface?
An interface which allows the user to interact directly with the computer system by typing in commands into a plain black with white text screen. The commands are very specific. This interface was used before windows was developed. An example: DOS (Disk Operating System)
What is a GUI?
A graphical user interface is the most common type of user interface in use today. It makes use of pictures graphics and icons.

What is a sound and speech interface?
A type of interface that allows the user to speak or type in their normal language, for example speech recognition software which accepts spoken words and then converts them into text on the computer
