Airway Trolley
I - introducer
M - mask/magilles
A - airways (OPAs)/ambubag/airway mix (optional but useful if bronchospasm anticipated)
L - laryngoscope/LMA (all appropriate sizes)
E - ETT/Elastoplast
S - suction/scissors
REMEMBER TO CHECK THE SUCTION
AIRWAY MIX - 1 ml down tube in case of bronchospasm (after salbutamol, consider IV adrenaline in severe cases)
1 ml of 1:10000 adrenaline diluted in a 10ml syringe
Take 1 ml of this and add to 1 ml 2% lignocaine and 2 ml saline.
Total solution 4 ml

A - age > 50 age
N - neck circumference over 40cm
G - male gender
SAD features for symptomatic aortic stenosis

Sudden increase airway pressure
D - displacement
O - obstruction
P - pneumothorax
E - equipment failure
