Why is blue/green light preferred?
A
It does not disrupt dark adaptation. It falls naturally on the retinal wall and allows the eye to focus on the object without becoming fatigued. In addition, the intensity required for blue/greed as opposed to red is less, resulting in a lower infrared signature and less glare.

Items that are printing in blue/green might washout.
